Extra Credit

There will be fourteen opportunities; however, you will only need to complete seven to receive the credit.

1. Listen to one hour of NPR on 88.5 or 89.7
2. Commit a random act of kindness. Write a short overview of what you did and why you did it.
3. Read a memior. Write a short summary of the piece.
4. Go to NPR.org and look at the storycorps link. Submit your story.
5. Attend a Campus Activity.
6. Locate song lyrics to your favorite song and do a symbolic reading of the song.
7. Locate an annotated bibliography relating to your topic for project two.
8. Post a welcome address on your blog. Introduce who you are and what topic you are working on for Project Two.
9. Locate a satire and post on your blog.
10. Post a comment to one of your peer's posts on his or her blog.
11. Locate a blog about your issue from Project Two
12. Write a letter to the Editor of a Newspaper (local, national, etc.) about your Project Three Issue.
13. Go to the library and locate a children's book that deals with a theme from your Project Three. Write a "book-report" on the book. Remember, book reports are two to three paragraph summaries of the book.
